40-240 is a fast, sandable 2K HS primer-surfacer with high filling capacity, corrosion protection and excellent adhesion. Developed for spot repairs in automotive refinishing to prevent sinking and visible edge marks. Mix 4:1 with 40-250HEF (extra firm) or 40-250HF (firm). Thin 5–10% with acrylic thinner 99-200 if needed. Apply 1–3 coats (approx. 60–180 µm/coat). Sandable after 3–5 hr at 20°C or 30–40 min at 60°C; IR: short ≈8 min, medium 10–15 min. Gray variant in 1 L Prime+ packaging. Differs only by color (Gray) and pack size (1 L) from the base product.
