Basecoat

Basecoat is the color layer applied over primer that defines the final shade for cars and industrial items. Basecoats are typically solvent- or water-based paints without hardener and require a clearcoat for gloss and long-term protection. We stock ready-mixed and tintable basecoats from leading automotive and industrial lacquer brands, available in common sizes (typically 0.5–3.5 L). Technical data sheets, OEM colour matching and tinting support are available to ensure the correct system build-up.
