Polishers

Polishers are available in two main types: rotary and dual‑action (DA or random orbital). Rotary polishers use a fixed rotational motion and deliver high cutting power, ideal for removing deep scratches and heavy defects but requiring more skill to avoid heat and swirl marks. Dual‑action polishers combine rotation and orbit for safer, user‑friendly paint correction with reduced risk of damage. For best results use the correct pads and compounds (coarse, medium, fine), microfiber cloths and PPE. When choosing a polisher consider power, variable speed control, ergonomics and the availability of compatible pads and accessories; electric/battery models offer the most versatility, while air polishers are compact and lightweight for detailed work.
