Interface Pads

Interface pads are soft, cushioned foam adapters placed between a sander’s backing pad and the abrasive disc or sheet. They create a flexible sanding surface that conforms to curves and contours, reducing swirl marks and scratches. By evening out pressure they improve finish consistency and extend the life of both abrasive discs and backing pads. Commonly used in automotive refinish, woodworking, metal and composite sanding where precise finishing on curved or delicate surfaces is required.
