Abrasive Brushes

Abrasive brushes are rotary tools for surface preparation, used for grinding, deburring, rust and paint removal, blending and finishing on metal, wood, plastic and stone. Bristles are available as steel wire (twisted or coiled) or as synthetic filaments (nylon impregnated with abrasive). Twisted steel wires deliver aggressive stock removal for heavy-duty tasks, coiled/crimped wires give more flexible, less aggressive abrasion, and nylon abrasive brushes provide consistent finishes without loose fibres. Select brush diameter, construction and recommended RPM according to the application and manufacturer instructions. Always use appropriate PPE and test on an inconspicuous area to avoid surface damage.
