Double-sided tape

Double-sided tape (mounting tape) is a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape coated on both faces, providing a clean, fast alternative to mechanical fasteners and liquid adhesives. It bonds plastics, metals, glass and painted substrates and is commonly used for mounting trims, door sills, roof rails, interior panels and accessories in automotive, industrial and DIY applications. For best results apply to clean, dry surfaces, press firmly to activate the adhesive, choose a tape rated for the load and operating temperature, and remove residues carefully using heat or a dedicated adhesive remover to avoid surface damage.
