40-520 is a two-component (2K) epoxy primer in grey formulated for excellent adhesion to demanding substrates such as steel, non-ferrous metals, galvanised steel and anodised aluminium. Recommended cleaning with 60-010/60-011. Apply by spray in 2–3 coats (approx. 25 μm each), allow 5–10 min flash-off. At 20°C it is dust dry in 15 min, touch dry in 30 min and ready for sanding after 16–24 hours. IR cure option available (30 min). Observe equipment instructions and safety guidance.
